SOLD FLORIDA RAGDOLL KITTENS
To help our families follow the progress their babies are making we are dividing the sold kittens into four groups: the Nursery, Tiny Tots, the Preschool, the Graduates. Once they are out of the nursery and in the Tiny Tot/Preschool phase they are weaned and essentially need to gain weight before leaving their first home. You can plan your pick up in advance while they are in the preschool group, especially if you are coming from out of town but each kitten gains at their own pace and ideally should weigh about 3 pounds when they go home. ‘the Graduates’
Weeks 12-14: Weigh roughly 3 pounds, are now bathed and ready for life outside their nest.

‘the Preschool’
Weeks 9-12: This is when they are eating solid food, potty training and getting them ready for the world. We are deworming them, washing them and de-fleaing (when necessary). Still under three pounds so another couple more weeks should do it and they will be good to go!
‘Tiny Tots’
Weeks 5-8: They are just weaning off their mother. Transitioning to solid foods and starting to use the litter box.
Now they weigh about 1-2 pounds. They will spend about a month in this stage.
‘the Nursery’
Weeks 1-4: They are still nursing and weigh under one pound. They have at least 2 months before they can leave.
Our photography sessions require special lighting and preparation for this reason we update only periodically. If timing or specific colors are your most important factors, we do sell option reservations on future litters which guarantees priority picks and the best pricing on a baby from a future litter of Texas Ragdolls. We offer a guaranteed price as well as an additional $200 off if you pay in full when you choose your baby.
Once our babies are born, like everything else, we price them according to the market which is based on time of year, color, markings, etc. We give a discount to our option deposit buyers because they are aware of the process and know that it is a natural process that can at times take longer than anticipated. We can’t guarantee a certain sex or color or even if the mother cat will prove to be pregnant, but we do guarantee a Ragdoll baby from a subsequent litter at the same price as when you purchase your priority pick.
